Our cooperation with Press Council Kosovo (PCK) concerns the quality of the media. By promoting a Code of Conduct for the press, and making sure that it is applied, we strive to improve the professionalism in media.
PCK is a self-regulatory body for print media in Kosovo, and has a complaints board to which residents may bring complaints of breaches of the Code of Conduct. PCK plays an important role as watchdog and works to improve democratic values within the media.
PCK is also trying to identify possible self-generating sources of income within the scope of it’s activities, in order to develop towards self-sustainability. Until now PCK has entirely relied on funds provided by donor organisations.
