Open Letter to Permanent Representatives of Member and Observer States of the UNHRC
In an open letter, Civil Rights Defenders and a coalition of international, regional and domestic human rights groups addresses the deteriorating human rights situation in Cambodia and ensuring that the United Nations retains its protection role and monitoring capacity in the country.
Members of the UN Human Rights Council should address the deteriorating human rights situation in Cambodia during the upcoming council session. They should also extend the mandate of the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Cambodia, the open letter reads.
