In the end of the year, Civil Rights Defenders and Transparency International in Bosnia and Herzegovina (TI BIH), gathered different human rights organisations for a workshop on how to encourage citizens to engage in the fight against corruption. The workshop was attended by representatives of the Institution of Ombudsperson for Human Rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the workshop TI BIH presented the work of their Advocacy and Legal Advice Centre (ALAC). ALAC encourages citizens to come forward with their corruption-related cases and helps them to pursue these cases legally. By using information gained from reported cases, TI BIH advocates for systematic changes.

The workshop also included presentations by experts in the field. The workshop was attended by representatives of the Institution of Ombudsperson for Human Rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

For Civil Rights Defenders the fight against corruption is a longterm commitment and the organisation has been collaborating with ALAC since 2007.
